David's primary responsibility for Cardinal is Client Service and secondary responsibility is Research.

David joined the Cardinal team from New Leaf Capital Consulting, where he was a founding partner advising foundation, endowment and healthcare institutional asset pools. He was also responsible for New Leaf's macroeconomic research. Prior to New Leaf David worked at the Hammond Associates (now Mercer), an institutional investment consulting firm serving primarily foundations and endowments.

David holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. He received his CFA charter in 2002. David actively volunteers in his community, having served as the President of the CFA Society of New Orleans and the President of Campfire USA, a youth development organization in New Orleans. He currently is on the board of directors of the CFA Society of St. Louis and is a Managing Director of a New Orleans Mardi Gras krewe he founded with a friend in 2003.

David enjoys travelling, exercise, a good meal and spending time with his wife and children.
